Steps
- Three widths, record the smallest for a recess fit.
- Three heights, record the smallest for a recess fit.
- Both diagonals. A big difference means out of square, so consider a frame that covers it. Measure Genie has a Diagonal measurement type for these.
- Reveal depth at several points (Depth and Reveal are measurement types in Measure Genie; say "deep" or "reveal" when recording by voice).
- Obstructions: handles, winders, security screens, tiles, sills.
- Hinge side and panel layout preference, and any mid rail height the customer wants.
- Photo of each window with sizes and notes marked. Mark sizes you order from "Checked with tape".
