Can I make an NFC business card on Android without buying a card from a supplier?
Yes. Buy blank NFC cards or stickers, then write your own details with NFC Ninja. You choose what goes on the card and can rewrite it when your details change.
Open Settings and search for "NFC". Switch it on. On many Android phones it sits under Connections or Connected devices. The NFC antenna is usually near the middle or top of the back of the phone.
Open NFC Ninja, tap Write a Tag and choose Digital business card. Or open the Library and tap Use this idea on Digital Business Card.
Fill in your full name, role, company, phone, email and website. The business card writer is built into NFC Ninja and works the same way on Android and iPhone. Check the preview, including how much space it needs on the tag.
Hold the card flat against the back of your phone until the write finishes. If the tag already has something on it, NFC Ninja asks before replacing it.
NFC Ninja reads the tag back and only shows success when the contents match, so you know the card works before you hand it out.

A plain white card works, but a designed one gets kept. With Pro, the Design Studio has a Business Cards category: pick one of 3 layouts, add your headline, details and link, choose your brand colour and a background, and place your logo. Share the design as a PNG or a one-page PDF to send to your designer or print shop. Pro's Card Studio also saves your cards so you can reuse them, keep one per role or per team member, and write them again whenever you need.
Your card is not Android-only. iPhone XS and later can read NFC tags, and the person tapping your card does not need NFC Ninja. Contact fields can show slightly differently from phone to phone, so tap your finished card with an iPhone and an Android phone before you print a batch.
A card you hand out can be rewritten by anyone with an NFC app. Pro's tag security tools let you add a write password, or permanently lock a finished card. Both need NTAG21x tags. Permanent lock cannot be undone: you confirm you understand that and type LOCK, and NFC Ninja reads the tag again right before locking.
Your setup is saved in My Tags. When your number or role changes, edit it and write it again (unless you have locked the card).
Design. Deploy. Protect.
Pro is a one-time upgrade inside the NFC Ninja app, no subscription. Reading and writing tags work without Pro.
Pick an idea, build the tag in a few taps, write it, and see it verified. No account needed.

No. Most recent Android phones and iPhone XS or later read NFC tags without an extra app. Their phone shows your contact details. How it offers to save them can differ from phone to phone.
Yes. iPhones from the XS onward can read it. Contact fields can show differently between phones, so check your card on both before printing a batch.
Yes, with NFC Ninja Pro. Card Studio keeps saved, reusable cards, so you can switch between cards or write the same card again later.
