NFC Ninja Privacy Policy
Effective date: 18 October 2026
In short: NFC Ninja doesn’t collect any data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and no NFC Ninja server. Everything you save stays on your phone. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.
NFC Ninja is a mobile app for reading, writing and setting up NFC tags. It’s published by Systemic Studios. The legal entity behind Systemic Studios is Ashira Holdings Pty Ltd, ABN 66 164 163 188, based in Ocean Reef, Western Australia. Our other apps are covered in the Apps Privacy Policy, and the website is covered in our website privacy notice.
NFC Ninja does not ask you to create an account, does not show ads, does not include analytics or advertising tools, and does not track you across other apps or websites. It has no server of its own and does not send anything to us. We don’t collect, receive or sell personal information through the app.
This section applies in every region where we release NFC Ninja.
What stays on your phone
NFC tags. NFC Ninja uses your phone’s NFC reader only when you start a scan or a write. The tag’s contents are read and written on the phone, and they aren’t sent anywhere.
Saved tags. Tag setups you save, any personal notes you add, and your history of scans and writes are stored only on your phone, in the app’s own storage. NFC Ninja does not upload them, and we never see them unless you share them yourself.
Backups. Like other app data, what NFC Ninja keeps can be included in your phone’s own backup (iCloud or Google), if you have backup turned on. That backup is held by Apple or Google under your account with them, not by us.
Links, maps, email, calls and sharing
A tag can hold a web link, a map location, an email address, a phone number or a text message. NFC Ninja only opens these when you tap to open them. Then they’re handled by the app that opens them, such as your browser, maps, mail or phone app, under that app’s own privacy policy. The same goes for Share and Copy: content goes only where you choose to send it.
Writing a website or contact to a tag puts that information on the physical tag. Anyone who scans the tag later can read it.
Children
NFC Ninja is not designed to collect information from anyone, including children. It doesn’t collect personal information from users of any age.
How long we keep it
On your phone. Everything NFC Ninja keeps is stored only on your phone, and it’s deleted when you delete the app or clear its data, except copies in your own phone backup. Deleting the app doesn’t change any physical tag you’ve already written.
Emails to support. If you email support@systemicstudios.com, we get what you send so we can reply. We keep support emails for 24 months.
Stores and the operating system
Apple and Google provide the app stores and the phone operating system. The store handles your download. NFC, and any permission prompts, are controlled by the phone. Their terms cover that. We don’t.
Changes to this policy
If NFC Ninja changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example a new optional feature that sends information off your phone, we’ll update this page and the effective date before that version is released, and describe the change here. We won’t start collecting information without updating this policy first.
Access, correction, and deletion
NFC Ninja doesn’t send us personal information. If you’ve emailed us and want access to that information, or want it corrected or deleted, email support@systemicstudios.com or write to Systemic Studios, Ocean Reef WA. We’ll deal with it as the Australian Privacy Principles require. Information the app keeps on your phone is removed when you delete the app, or when you clear its data in your phone’s settings.
