Measure Genie Privacy Policy
Effective date: 29 October 2026
In short: Measure Genie doesn’t collect your personal information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and no Measure Genie server. Your projects, photos and scans stay on your iPhone, with optional backup to your own private iCloud.
Measure Genie is an iPhone app for measuring sites and preparing job reports. It’s published by Systemic Studios. The legal entity behind Systemic Studios is Ashira Holdings Pty Ltd, ABN 66 164 163 188, based in Ocean Reef, Western Australia. Our other apps are covered in the Apps Privacy Policy, and the website is covered in our website privacy notice.
Measure Genie does not ask you to create an account, does not show ads, does not include analytics or advertising tools, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We don’t run servers that receive your data, and the app does not send anything to us. We don’t collect, receive or sell personal information through the app.
This section applies in every region where we release Measure Genie.
What stays on your iPhone
Projects and job details. Projects, customer names and contact details, site addresses, notes, measurements, photos and LiDAR scans are stored on your iPhone. Measure Genie does not upload them, and we never see them unless you share them yourself.
Backup. If you turn on backup, copies are saved to your own private iCloud Drive. Apple stores these copies under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and we can’t access them.
Camera, microphone and other permissions
Camera and LiDAR. Used only for measuring and recording the job: AR and LiDAR measuring, and taking site photos.
Photos. Used to import photos you choose. Your originals aren’t changed.
Microphone and Speech Recognition. Used only to turn your speech into job details and measurements. Recognition runs on your iPhone where supported. Otherwise, Apple’s speech service processes it.
Location. Used only when you tap Use my location, to suggest the site address using Apple Maps.
Reports and sharing
Reports and exports are sent only where you choose to share them, for example by email or a messaging app. Then they go wherever you send them.
Subscriptions
Measure Genie offers Monthly and Annual subscriptions, each with a 7-day trial. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We don’t receive your payment details.
Children
Measure Genie is a business tool and isn’t directed at children.
How long we keep it
On your iPhone. Everything Measure Genie keeps is stored on your iPhone, and it’s deleted when you delete the app, except copies in your own iCloud backup.
Emails to support. If you email support@systemicstudios.com, we get what you send so we can reply. We keep support emails for 24 months.
Stores and the operating system
Apple provides the App Store and the iPhone operating system. The store handles your download and your subscription. Permission prompts are controlled by your iPhone. Their terms cover that. We don’t.
Changes to this policy
If Measure Genie changes in a way that affects your privacy, we’ll update this page and the effective date before that version is released, and describe the change here. We won’t start collecting information without updating this policy first.
Access, correction, and deletion
Measure Genie doesn’t send us personal information. If you’ve emailed us and want access to that information, or want it corrected or deleted, email support@systemicstudios.com or write to Systemic Studios, Ocean Reef WA. We’ll deal with it as the Australian Privacy Principles require. Information the app keeps on your iPhone is removed when you delete the app.
